Here are some pictures of my adventures.

00011 - 2010-10-11 - Room.
This is a new room caved out under the mountain from the previous pic. As you can see, I went on a boat ride and found myself some cactus!
00010 - 2010-10-10 - Pathway and pseudo-chessboard from main base to secondary base.
Cleaned off the top of the mountain, getting ready for a tree farm. Expanded the tunnels for symmetry.
00009 - 2010-10-02 - Wheat Farm! I carved out that sandy area near the lava beacon tower. And the torches help it to grow at night.
Let's bake some bread. Actually you don't bake it, but you can still make tasty bread.
00008 - 2010-09-28 - Decided to finish off the second base. Just need to clean out the front grass blocks
Maybe get some fences up ready for herding animals, and plant a few trees. As long as I can take shots at enemies from the top :D
Oooh, and link the minecart tracks by the river below onto the right (pic left) side of the building for transport to my main base.
00007 - 2010-09-28 - New base just past the new mine. Yay! Waterfall feature! The water rolls right under this base towards the small fort in the previous pic.
Two sets of stairs lead up to the opposing mountain, where I'll do... Something. The archway in 00005 is about where I stand.
Base will have better symmetry later on, it will take a while to flatten out the hills some more.
00006 - 2010-09-27 - I built a small fort to protect myself near the new mine. Zombies and Creepers ain't going to get me now.
Also, minetrack started. Lava directional arrow (which took ages to get right), and a tree growing out of an obsidian 'farm'. :D
00005 - 2010-09-25 - I'm on a boat!
00004 - 2010-09-24 - Expanded the house to have two balconies, better symmetry, lots of glass and a second floor. Did not go cave diving today.
00003 - 2010-09-22 - Built a bridge to the next island, and a lava-light beacon so I can go exploring. Huge lava cave system just behind the house, very little ore though :(
00002 - 2010-09-20 - I got tired of repairing the terrain and house from exploding creepers. Behold! HOUSE ON STILTS!
00001 - 2010-09-19 - Started a new game, now I know the basics. This is my home, 2 squares beneath I found a cave :D
